Chevron has been selling its products in the UK since 1916. From petrol to aviation fuel, to lubricants and marine fuel. Chevron products and services are known for high quality, reliability and performance.
Fuel
Today there are more than 1,300 Texaco-branded service stations in the UK, which are operated under a franchise network, along with authorised equity fuel distributors.
Chevron employs more than 1,000 people in the UK at locations around the country.
Chevron's UK refinery is at Pembroke, in south west Wales. The refinery began operations in 1964 and today it is one of the largest manufacturers of petrol in northwest Europe, producing approximately 15.75 million litres (3.5 million gallons) of petrol per day.
The company, as one of the first retailers to introduce ultra low sulphur petrol and diesel in the UK, is committed to a programme of cleaner fuels. Following an £84 million upgrade at the Pembroke refinery,
Chevron is also able to produce sulphur-free fuels, in line with EU legislation that
came into effect in 2005.
Lubricants
Chevron also markets and distributes lubricants, coolants and non-oil-related solutions to customers across the UK. Customer Services and Technical Support are based in
Swindon,
while Manufacturing and Distribution are provided from the Stoke-on-Trent office.
Chevron serves the automotive, commercial, industrial and wholesale markets across the whole of the UK.
Chevron’s family of car and truck lubricants, including the Havoline and Ursa brands, help to protect engines, improve performance and meet the stringent requirements of vehicle manufacturers.
Aviation
Chevron fuels have been used by the aviation industry for 85 years.
Chevron jet fuels are premium fuels that provide clean and efficient combustion as well as good high- and low-temperature performance.
Marine
In October 2002, Fuel and Marine Marketing (FAMM) became a global business of Chevron Corporation. FAMM is a full service global organisation that markets fuels, lubricants and coolants to the marine, power and industrial markets.
