The Texaco brand has been a mainstay in the United Kingdom since 1916. In August 2011, Valero Energy Corporation, through Valero Energy Ltd, acquired the network of more than 1,000 Texaco branded wholesale sites – the largest branded network in the U.K. – from Chevron Ltd. Valero has continued with the Texaco brand in the market.
